形態特徵

• Rhizome short, ascending, slender. Culms many, loosely tufted, slender, 5-30 cm tall, obtusely trigonous, smooth.
• Leaves many, 1.5-2 mm wide; sheaths yellowish brown or brown.
• Spikes 3-5, upper 3 or 4 approximate to contiguous at culm apex; terminal spike staminate, linear, 5-15 mm long, 0.8-1 mm wide, pale brown; lateral spikes pistillate, densely many-flowered, narrowly cylindrical to oblong, 0.5-1.5 mm long, 2-2.2 mm thick, green, erect, subsessile or short peduncle. Bracts hardly or short sheathing, lowest blade slightly overtopping inflorescence.
• Pistillate glumes oblong to obovate, 1.25-1.5 mm long, ca. 2/3 mm wide, pale, obtuse at hyaline apex, keel green; awns 1-1.25 mm long. Utricles nearly erect, fusiform to obovate, 2-3 mm long, trigonous, light green, finely many-veined, sparsely pubescent, beak short, nearly entire. Achenes tightly enveloped, elliptic, triquetrous, 1.5 mm long, mitrate at apex; style thickened at base; stigmas 3, short, slender.
